Farm (feed, cattle, compost)
The procurement team buys weaners and feeder cattle from farmers, auctions and agents. Cattle are weighed on arrival at the feedlot and paid on the agreed basis.
Finished cattle are sold to the Morgan Beef abattoir and, by arrangement, to other abattoirs. Cattle owners who feed with Morgan Beef can market through the same channel.
Cattle are moved in cattle trucks with the movement documents each load requires, between the seller's farm, the feedlot and the abattoir.
