职责
- Plan and supervise preventive maintenance on the slaughter line, deboning plant and cold rooms
- Lead the maintenance team and the contractors who work on site
- Keep refrigeration, boilers, compressors and the effluent plant within their operating limits
- Specify, cost and commission new equipment and plant improvements
- Keep maintenance records, spares and statutory inspections up to date
要求
- A mechanical engineering qualification
- Experience with refrigeration, steam and processing equipment in a food plant
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act as it applies to plant and machinery
- The ability to lead artisans and plan work around a production schedule
- A valid driver's licence
